Katie Adams

Katie Adams is the Legal Practice Director at Adams United Lawyers, where she oversees the firm’s practice operations, client experience, business development and strategic growth while working closely with Principal Solicitor Darren Adams to deliver exceptional family law services to clients throughout Australia.

As a Senior Family Law Paralegal, Katie coordinates complex Binding Financial Agreement and property settlement matters from initial enquiry through to completion. She manages client onboarding, matter progression, independent legal advice coordination, solicitor liaison, document management and case administration, ensuring every matter is handled with professionalism, efficiency and meticulous attention to detail.

Katie is responsible for the firm’s legal practice management, operational leadership, client relations, quality assurance, marketing strategy and business development. She has played a significant role in the firm’s growth from a regional practice to a nationally recognised boutique family law firm with a dedicated focus on Binding Financial Agreements and complex financial matters.

A Registered Nurse (RN) by background, Katie brings a unique perspective to family law. Her experience in healthcare, together with her background in domestic violence advocacy and trauma-informed client support, enables her to appreciate the emotional and practical challenges many clients experience during relationship breakdowns. She is committed to ensuring every client feels informed, supported and treated with empathy throughout their legal journey.

Katie believes outstanding client service extends beyond the legal process. Where appropriate, she assists clients in accessing multidisciplinary support services and referral pathways, recognising that family law matters often require practical, emotional and professional support beyond legal representation alone.
