Our Fixed-Fee Family Law Services
Binding Financial Agreement (BFA) – Drafting
$2,200 inc GST (fixed fee)
Suitable if you don’t yet have a draft and want us to prepare the agreement.
Includes:
- Initial advice on your situation and goals
- Drafting a Binding Financial Agreement tailored to you
- Revisions and amendments as needed
- Liaising with your former partner’s or fiancé(e)’s lawyer
- Providing you with full legal advice
- Independent Legal Advice (ILA) certificate as required by the Family Law Act 1975
Binding Financial Agreement (BFA) – Review & Independent Legal Advice
$990 inc GST (fixed fee)
Suitable if the other party already has a draft BFA and you need advice before signing.
Includes:
- Full clause-by-clause review of the proposed agreement
- Written and verbal advice on risks, gaps and suggested changes
- Strategy on what to negotiate or amend
- Liaising with the other lawyer (if required)
- Independent Legal Advice (ILA) certificate
Prenuptial Agreements (Prenups) – Fixed Fee
In Australia, a “prenup” is a Binding Financial Agreement made before marriage or before starting a de facto relationship.
We offer:
- Prenup Drafting (BFA) – from $2,200 inc GST
- Prenup Review & ILA – $990 inc GST
These are suitable for protecting existing assets, businesses, inheritances and children from previous relationships.
Consent Orders – Drafting
$2,200 inc GST (fixed fee)
For couples who have already reached an agreement about property settlement and want it formalised by the Court without going to a hearing.
Includes:
- Drafting the Application for Consent Orders
- Drafting proposed Consent Orders
- Advice on whether the agreement is likely to be approved by the Court
- Amendments if required
- Lodgement support and guidance through the Court process
Consent Orders – Review & Advice
$990 inc GST (fixed fee)
If you have received draft Consent Orders from another lawyer or from your ex-partner and want advice before signing.
Includes:
- Review of the proposed Orders
- Advice on whether they are just and equitable
- Identification of risks or unfair terms
- Recommendations for amendments or negotiation
- Written advice (if required)
Property Settlement Advice – Fixed Fee (Quote Provided)
If you haven’t yet reached an agreement, we can provide fixed-fee advice on:
- Likely range of outcomes
- How a Court would view contributions and future needs
- Strategy to negotiate a settlement
- Next steps to document the agreement via BFA or Consent Orders
We’ll give you a fixed quote in writing before you commit.
